Lindsay Moore traces her restaurant work back to her high school hostess job at a seafood restaurant on Solomon’s Island, just a short boat ride from her childhood home in Lexington Park, Maryland. She returned to that restaurant on her first summer back from college and has been in the dining scene ever since.
In 2010 Moore joined the Volare team as a server, and her love for the unique Louisville locale would ultimately keep her at Volare for the long term.
As the Catering and Events Coordinator for Volare, Moore creates unique celebrations and gatherings centered on Volare’s delicious food.
Moore’s long history in restaurants means she knows how to cater and plan an event that inspires. It starts with Volare’s delectable food, and Moore’s personal favorite is Chef Josh Moore’s Fettuccine Alfredo.
But for Moore, it’s not all about the cuisine. “Volare,” she explains, “feels like a home away from home for so many people.” “Our guests,” she adds, “become close friends and family.” Moore makes sure to craft events and dining environments that make visitors feel right at home.
Moore currently resides in Taylorsville, Kentucky, on a small farm where she tends to her vegetables.
